The Winning Form-sponsored Kennedy was stood down by the Course Medical Officer after the running of the ninth race as he had been diagnosed with dehydration.

He was replaced on his mounts in Turffontein races 10, 11 and 12.

The Stipes report states that the 48 hour rule 25.12 does not apply.

However, Kennedy must be examined by the Course Medical Officer before fulfilling his engagements today.

He has rides in all eight races. The Stipes recorded his weight at the time of examination as 51kg.

Today’s meeting is the third in the R100 000 Sizzling Punters’ Challenge and a chance to win R10 000.
