Jimmy The Rich writes that Dean Kannemeyer saddles Ideal Act in Race 5. He showed very good improvement when finishing third over this course and distance last time.

The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

The son of Ideal World looks progressive and from pole position, he should shed his maiden tag.

Justfortheepenny from the in-form Nathan Kotzen stable takes his place in the last race.

He should have finished much closer last time as he was baulked for a run from the 400m mark to the 200m mark. He was also reported to be coughing that day.

The son of Just As Well takes a big drop in class today and with a bit of luck in running, he should be the one to beat.

Gabriell Pieterse will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.

The false rail is at 6m.
