Average and median prices up, more big prices, and a strong middle market. Foreign money, and lots of local big spenders. When the buyers admit it’s hard to buy a nice yearling, then the sale is a success.
The sale average climbed to 145k from last year’s 107k. It seems that the Million Dollar race incentive did have the desired effect. Bring on January 2016.
The traditional Ready To Run sale, with its massive annual restricted-race incentive, has truly come of age.
