Get In The Bucks With Aldo

The first race is off at 13h05

Racing takes place on the Turffontein Inside course today and eight races are carded.

Aldo Domeyer makes the trip up from Cape Town and has three rides, all of which have a decent chance of winning.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Buck’s Fizz from the Ashley Fortune stable takes his place in Race 2. He followed up his maiden win with a good third-place finish over 1200m at the Vaal against stronger.

The manner in which he ran on at the finish that day suggests that he will love the extra distance on offer.

He won his maiden on this course and despite having to carry top weight of 62kgs, he should be too good for this field.

Robbie Sage saddles Kool Baikal in Race 1 and he represents decent each way value. He showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 2200m on this course.

He was reported to be fatigued that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging. It must be noted that Shangani has come out and won again since.

Ryan Munger retains the ride and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
