Make A Fortune At Turffontein Today!

The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h05

A nine-race programme is scheduled for Turffontein Racecourse this afternoon.

After riding a treble at the Vaal on Tuesday, Winning Form-sponsored jockey Kabelo Matsunyane will be looking to pick up where he left off.

The first is due off at 12h00.

Bard Of Avon takes his place in Race 4 today (Pic- Candiese Lenferna)

Bard Of Avon from the Ashley Fortune stable takes his place in Race 4 and he is the best bet on the card.

He showed good speed in his last start over 1200m, but was outrun late by stable companion Captain Lannister.

The son of Var is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe.

He is the best weighted runner in this contest and with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

Bard Of Avon will run with a compression mask on today.

Mike de Kock saddles Al Sakeet in Race 7. He showed signs of needing his seasonal debut over 1160m on this course.

The son of Var is unbeaten from four starts over this distance.

He should strip a much fitter horse and on best form shown, will take a power of beating.
