Find Your Goddess Of Light

The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h10

Vaal Racecourse plays host to an eight-race programme this afternoon.

Warren Kennedy makes his way up north and has a full book of rides. He may be the jockey to follow on the day.

The first is due off at 13h00.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Goddess Of Light from the Paul Peter stable takes her place in Race 1 and she is the best bet on the card.

She caught the eye when finishing second on debut over 1000m on this course. She took time to find her feet that day, but finished her race off strongly.

The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and will love the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

Fabian Habib saddles Waqaas in the lucky last race.

He won a good race in his last start over 1500m on this course. He raced from a handy position that day and found extra where it matters most.

Three of his five career victories have come over this distance. Diego de Gouveia retains the ride and the combination should follow up.

Raymond Danielson will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.
