Note Fourie Replacements Today At Fairview

The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h10

Racing takes place on the polytrack at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon and eight races are carded.

Greg Cheyne has six rides, all of which have a decent chance of winning and he may be the jockey worth following.

The first is due off at 12h25.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Arizona Sky from the Sharon Kotzen stable takes his place in Race 2.

He showed very good improvement in his local debut over 1400m on the turf. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was eye-catching.

It must be noted that Son Of Zeus has come out and won again since.

The son of Red Ray will love the rise to the mile and if suited to the polytrack, he may be the one to beat.

Alan Greeff sends out American Landing in Race 5. He was unlucky not to have won his last start over 1800m on the turf.

He was running on in the straight, but had no clear passage.

Two of his four career victories have come over this distance. He continues to drop in the ratings and with a bit of luck in running, he can return to winning ways.

Kyle Strydom has ridden his 60th winner and will no longer claim an allowance.

Richard Fourie will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.
