A twilight meeting will be held at Turffontein Racecourse today, with eight races are carded.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Mike de Kock saddles Mike’s Chick in Race 6 and she is the best bet on the card.

She followed up her comfortable maiden victory with an impressive win over 1600m on the Inside course.

Perfect Witness has won and finished second in a Grade 2 since. The daughter of Vercingetorix has plenty of class about her and should take a power of beating.

Kwite A Trip hails from the in-form Paul Peter stable and takes his place in the Grade 3 Lebelo Sprint.

He finished 3.15 lengths behind Alesian Chief last time. He is 7kgs better off at the weights this afternoon and that is enough for the tables to be turned.

He has won five times, finished second twice and third once from eleven starts over this distance. With just 52.5kgs on his back, he can return to winning ways.

Diego De Gouveia will not be riding at Turffontein today as he will be at the Hollywoodbets Greyville racemeeting.

Muzi Yeni will not be riding in Race 3 & 6 only.
