Angel Of War from the Paul Matchett stable takes his place in Race 2 and is the likely PA Banker.

He has finished third in both his efforts to date, the latest of which was over 1200m on this course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won by 9.25 lengths since.

The son of Act Of War should enjoy the extra furlong on offer today and with Muzi Yeni in the saddle, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Chris Jonker sends out Light Warrior in Race 6. He ran a decent race when finishing second in his last start over 1700m on this course.

He stayed on nicely at the finish, but found one too good in the form of Grimaldi.

He gets the services of Mark Khan who may be able to coax that little extra out of him where it matters most.

Jockeys not riding are Chase Maujean, Deon Sampson, Luke Ferraris and Warren Kennedy.

The false rail is set at 10m in outside rail from 1600m to the 600m with a10m spur at the 600m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h40
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h15
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h50
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h25
