Jimmy The Rich writes Trainer Paul Peter sends down three horses to take their place on today’s meeting. Queen Anne’s Lace in Race 2 is the best bet.

She ran a good race when finishing second in her last start over this distance at Turffontein. She set the pace that day, but was outrun in the latter stages.

The daughter of Flower Alley tries the polytrack and if suited to the surface, she should go one better here.

Running Freely from the Lowan Denysschen stable is the best value on the day. He showed good signs of a form return in his last start over this course and distance.

The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. He jumps from pole position and can cause the upset.
