Aldo Domeyer will not be riding what would have been some choice engagements and Lyle Hewitson travels to take up most of the gaps vacated by the Cape star.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Justin Snaith saddles You Know Who in Race 2 and he looks to be the PA banker. He ran a decent race on debut over 1000m at Kenilworth.

He showed pace, understandably raced green but found one too good in the form of Safe Return. The son of What A Winter would have come on from the run and will enjoy the extra distance on offer.

He does not meet the strongest field today and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

Ma Black from the Candice Bass-Robinson yard represents some decent value in Race 7.

Her last two starts against stronger company have been fair. The daughter of What A Winter has dropped to a competitive rating and meets the right field today.

Lyle Hewitson will take the ride on Ma Black with Domeyer’s medical indisposition.

The false rail is set 3m out on the back straight with a 4m cut-off at approximately the 550m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h05
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 12h35
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h05
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 13h45
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 14h20
