In a press release dated 9 February 2015, the National Horseracing Authority announced that the Chair of the National Board remains undecided.
At a meeting of the National Board on 5 February 2015, it was agreed that due to a vacancy on the Board (Western Cape) having occurred, the appointment of the Chairman of the National NHA Board should be delayed pending the finalisation of the election of a Western Cape representative.
In the interim, Mr Rodney Trotter will act as Chairman of the National Board.
