NHA investigates Flamingo Park protest

The racemeeting held at Flamingo Park on 7 February 2011 was abandoned after Race 2 due to inconsistent going and poor visibility.

Following an internal review of the decision, The National Horseracing Authority is satisfied that the panel which was convened to hear the protest was, in the circumstances, justified in reaching that decision.

Following the internal review into the result of Race 2 at Flamingo Park on 7 February 2011, The National Horseracing Authority has decided to convene an independent Inquiry Board to investigate the circumstances surrounding the result of the race and to make recommendations to the NHA in this regard.  This Inquiry will be held on 14 February 2011.
