The Sun Met day programme is the richest on the African continent with R18 886 000 stakes being paid out on the big day.

With 8 features, headed by the R5 million Gr1 Sun Met, on the 12 race programme, trainers will be making important strategic final decisions before the cut-off at 11h00 today.

While the Sun Met barrier draw will be conducted at a function at Grand West Casino on Wednesday, the balance of the 11 races will have their draws allocated electronically.
