Sun Met – Final Log Standings

Australian-bred is biggest mover

With the countdown to the big race just over a fortnight away, the final log for the R5-million Gr1 Sun Met has been published.

Whisky Baron – the biggest mover

The top two positions remain unchanged, but sensational Gr1 Paddock Stakes winner Bela-Bela has made progress from seventh position to third. Anthony Delpech was confirmed as her rider earlier this week.

Last Saturday’s Gr2 Peninsula Handicap winner Whisky Baron has improved from 12th position to No 5 on the log.

The final field will be  announced on Monday 16 January.

Public Gallops and barrier draw on Thursday 19 January.
