Jimmy The Rich writes that Motown Magic from the powerful De Kock stable takes his place in Race 3 and he is the best bet on the card.

He challenged strongly in his last start over 1600m on this course, but found one too good in the form of Indelible.

The son of Uncle Mo will love the rise to the 1800m and should be cherry- ripe. He jumps from a good draw of three and should shed his maiden tag.

Evening Rise from the Fabian Habib yard takes her place in Race 6. Her last two starts against stronger company have been decent.

She raced from a prominent position over a mile last time and stayed on nicely to finish fourth. Two of her four career victories have come over this distance.

The 5yo mare takes a drop in class this afternoon and may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

The false rail is set at zero on the back straight and bend with a 2,5m spur at the 600m mark.
