Let’s Go To Another Level At The Vaal Today!

Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h50

Racing takes place on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon and eight races are carded.

The combination of Paul Peter and Warren Kennedy team up in five races and their fantastic run of form should continue.

The first race is due off at 13h05.

Jimmy The Rich writes that Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Candice Dawson saddles Another Level in Race 3. He showed good improvement in his last start over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course.

He stayed on nicely at the finish, but found one too good in the form of Lion Of The Desert.

The son of Twice Over should love the rise to the mile. He looks to be a progressive type and in this line-up, he should take a power of beating.

Icy Night from the Peter stable takes her place in the lucky last race. She was given a peach of a ride when winning her maiden in a workriders contest.

She was slow into stride, but set the pace and found another kick where it matters most.

The daughter of What A Winter takes on stronger, but she carries a handy galloping mass of 53.5kgs and should be up to the task at hand.

Keagan De Melo will not be riding today with the stipes permission.

The false rail is set at 4.5m on the back straight and 10.5m on the bend with a 9m spur at the 600m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 13h05
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h40
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 14h15
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h50
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h25
