Ferraris To Add To Tally Today

The Bipot starts in the first at 12h45

Eight races are scheduled to take place at the Vaal on the Classic course this afternoon.

Luke Ferraris who has ridden 54 winners this season, has six decent rides today, and will be looking to add to his tally.

The first race is due off at 12h45.

Mike de Kock sends out Lagertha in the lucky last. She ran a good race when finishing second against the males last time.

She has won once and finished second twice from as many starts on this course.

The daughter of Frankel shows good speed in her races and may be hard to peg back.

Lazy Guy from the Stephen Moffatt stable takes his place in Race 3.

He is much better than his last start in the James Maree Workriders Vs Jockeys Maiden Plate. His form prior to that outing was good.

He tries the 1450m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should shed his maiden tag.

The false rail is zero on the back straight and bend, with a 2,5m spur at the 600m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the first at 12h45
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second at 13h20
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third at 13h55
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fourth race at 14h35
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the fifth race at 15h15
