In the latest issue of the In The Box Seat podcast, former SA champion jockey Andrew Fortune opens up about his battle with addiction, the unwavering love of his mother, and 18 years in recovery.

He shares the pain of loneliness, the blessing of his bond with horses, and the moment his mother feared she’d lose him to love—right when he chose to spend forever with Ashley Fortune.

He speaks on riding for Justin Snaith, his connection with Bert Abercrombie, and the joy of riding alongside his son, Aldo Domeyer. Through it all: “Live with a smile.”
