I’ve got where I am with limited opportunities, but I have the luxury of a little more time for each horse. If I have to work a little harder to get a little extra, I’m OK with that.
We don’t know where it’s going to go, but for me it’s living the dream and giving rein to it whatever direction it’s going to go.
Beth Shaw and her Equine Training Academy offer one of the most respected equine practice courses in South Africa and recently got government accreditation as well as support from some pretty special people.
We’re just going to enjoy it one day at a time – that’s how we started – so we’ll just keep that mentality for now and enjoy the ride.
I have faith and will carry on, focus on my riding and work hard. Even if it means only winning the Met when I’m 45!
